Mould Removal - Ozone Clear Process

Step One  Mould (mold) Professional Inspection to source why active mould (mold) growth is present in the home in the first place, locating any hidden leaks, ventilation or condensation concerns, mould (mold) air and surface testing can be carried out at your request at the time of mould (mold) inspection.

Step Two  Ozone Treatment to kill airborne and surface mould, Purchase or Hire Xetin generators to produce high levels of ozone gas and must be carried out in unoccupied spaces whilst ozone treatment is in process.  Xetin ozone generators have been tested by SGS Taiwan– World leading testing, inspection and verification company in the world.  Xetin ozone generators do not produce any nitr dioxide or leave any toxic residue, it reverts to Oxygen O2 once treatment time has completed within 1 – 2 hours.

How much Ozone Treatment is required? It depends on how contaminated the property is and how high the mould (mold) colony air levels are and visible surface mould spread over the walls, ceilings, windows, sills etc alone with all of the affected contents in the home.  The duration of treatment and remediation also depends on the size of the home single storey, double storey, cottage or a huge dwelling.  This could result in ozone treatment required for 1 day treatment or up to 5 days or longer of treatment/  Every home is unique to their own level of contamination.

Step Three Mould (mold) removal from property, furniture and contents. We suggest you follow the Australian Mould Guidelines and IICRC S520 standards by physically hand remediating and removing contaminants by HEPA vacuuming all surfaces and remediating every surface with chemical-free products and microfibre cloths.

This is a very labour intense process which you may wish to tackle yourself or outsource professional cleaners depending on the level of contamination and size of the property.

Step Four Ozone Clear can then carry out any final Mould (mold) Air and Surface Clearance testing if requested, once air ozone treatment & surface remediation & contents, is completed, giving you peace of mind your home is healthy for you to return home and start breathing pure, light air as some of our customers describe their results!

For TRUE Mould Remediation - For large scale of mould growth appearing or really strong mould odour (musty smell) thorough remediating of the home and its contents maybe required. Depending on the level of mould contamination, this sometimes simply cannot be acheived in one day, so don't be fooled if someone tells you your whole home & contents can be properly treated & cleaned in one day, it simply is not possible if being remediated correctly.

Mould (mold) is everywhere, you will never have a zero count of mould (mold) in your home but to maintain good health these levels must be below or normal limit – WHO Guidelines for Indoor Air Quality.
